changelog: everything new on frontpage today (june 12)

frontpage looks and feels completely different than it did yesterday. here is everything that shipped today:

the redesign

new dark visual language — true-black canvas, tonal surfaces, pill buttons, rounded-square avatars, a quiet icon sidebar. the whole app was rebuilt around it.
explore is a poster wall — communities show up as banner tiles sized by how alive they are, plus trending chips.
home is a dashboard — your joined communities' posts in a masonry feed, with For you / Everything tabs.
search rebuilt — Top / Latest / Communities / People tabs with proper result cards.
full mobile overhaul — edge-to-edge cards, a bottom bar with a big Create button, and a pile of layout fixes (no more clipped cards or sideways scrolling).

the Lounge — every community now has a live chat-style space right on its page. say hi.
banners + accent colors — founders set a banner and accent; the community page glows with the banner's colors (ambient glow), and the accent tints everything inside.
founder tools — community founders can pin posts to the top and remove posts.

pick your own theme — light, dark, any color, gradients, or "from my banner". new auto mode follows your device's light/dark setting.
profile banners + anthem — set a panoramic banner and a profile song (Spotify / SoundCloud / Apple Music).
game-style ranks — XP tiers now have rarity colors, avatar frames, and a legendary text effect at the top.

video uploads on posts (mp4/webm/mov).
song cards — paste a music link and it renders as a playable card with artwork.
lightbox — images open in an in-app viewer instead of a new tab.

chat 3.0 — proper bubbles, typing indicators, instant send, a "new messages" pill instead of yanking you to the bottom, and "show older" history.

a million-dollar-homepage style pixel board at /thegreatboard — claim tiles for each, pay by card at checkout. rejected claims are refunded automatically.

/activity — a notification hub for friend requests, unread DMs, and replies to your stuff.
/welcome — new accounts get a quick 3-card tour and land right here in c/frontpage.
