I just wanted to say how much i really love old Google UI and the Google Plus era.

plainviewold google was just a search box on a white page and it loaded instantly. peak web design and we let it go

ferncodethe old google plus stack was actually doing some genuinely cool stuff under the hood before it got mothballed. the UI gets the nostalgia but the engineering deserved better too

google plus had the cleanest card grid of its era and then everyone pretended it never happened. the cards. the whitespace. i mourn it
