...but no old, bold mushroom hunters.
If you're getting into foraging: start with the impossible-to-confuse species (chanterelles have false gills, look like forked ridges), join a local mycological society, and never eat anything on one ID source. The hobby is wonderful precisely because the stakes force you to actually learn.
