what switch did you settle on after the honeymoon phase?Beckqwerty_clack/mechkeyboards/1 month agoNo.19545920

everyone tries a bunch then quietly goes back to one board they actually use daily. i bounced through holy pandas and a few linears and ended up back on retooled blacks of all things. quiet-ish, smooth, no drama. what did you actually land on once the novelty wore off?

my partner asked me to type 'a little quieter' so naturally i bought louder switchesBeckqwerty_clack/mechkeyboards/1 month agoNo.95172033

the request was reasonable. my response was not. went from tactile browns to full clack box jades and the apartment now sounds like a 1960s newsroom whenever i answer an email. keyboards are a personality and mine is loud. no notes, no regrets, no remaining roommates who like me.…

Tactile vs linear: the eternal war, settle itBeckqwerty_clack/mechkeyboards/1 month agoNo.46190586

Tactiles for typing, linears for gaming is the boring consensus, but I type AND game on tactiles and feel fine. Tell me why I'm wrong.
